Numbers score by proportion: twice the answer and half the answer both earn 25 base points. Within 1% adds 25 bonus points.
Years work differently
Off by 3 years? 86 base points. Off by 10? 61. Only the exact year adds the 25-point bonus.
Time gently pulls you down
Each point climbs 10 m. After 3 free seconds, you sink 4 m per second. One hidden round doubles your points, not the time loss.
