PRIVACY
Privacy policy
The Dles is a small, free collection of daily games. This page explains what is stored in your browser, what our analytics and advertising partners collect, and how you can control it.
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Who we are
The Dles is published at thedles.org. For any question about this policy or your data, email [email protected].
What stays in your browser
You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to play. Your saved game collection, game progress, results and sound preference are stored in your browser’s local storage.
That information stays on your device. It is not sent to us and we cannot read it. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MZR24ZVKBC) to
understand which pages and games are used. It records information such
as the page you visited, approximate location at city level, device
and browser type, the site that referred you, and some interactions
such as starting or finishing a game. We do not use it to identify you
personally.
You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense (publisher ID
pub-3369196922808842) to show ads that keep the games
free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads
based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use
of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based
on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
Consent
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message from Google’s certified consent platform appears before those cookies are set. You can change your choice through that message or by clearing this site’s cookies and reloading the page.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for accounts or logins. Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and are used for measurement and advertising as described above. Blocking them in your browser does not stop you playing the games.
Your choices
- Clear this site’s stored data at any time in your browser.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Manage ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings.
- Email us at [email protected] with any question or request about your data.
Children
The Dles is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, we update this page and its date. Significant changes will be described here rather than applied silently.
